Feel Good Fridays: C-Rayz Walz

It's been awhile since we've heard form C-Rayz Walz. Last time I saw him he was on tour with Abraham Inc. Glad he's back.

Throwback Thursdays: David Bowie

This tune originally dropped in 1975 and is a brilliant example of white-boy-funk. Bowie had no business writing a song like this but he pulled it off. Nod yer head to this.

Way Gone Wednesdays: The ScrubBoard

Watch this gentle hippy (Jeremy Bell) show off his home-made DJ set up using modified cassette players - he calls it The ScrubBoard (peep his Kickstarter here). This is really kinda dope. Dig.

Real Talk Tuesdays: The Generationals

Back in 2005 my band toured with a Baton Rouge group called The Eames Era. Great sound - we had a blast with them. A few years later, the two guitarists (Ted Joyner and Grant Widmer) would emerge as The Generationals - who keep churning out charming and compelling indie pop. Dig this new video for "Gold Silver Diamond" and yes, this is Waymond from Workaholics.

Madhouse Mondays: Chuck D

This shit just made my day.
