Real Talk Tuesdays: The Generationals

Back in 2005 my band toured with a Baton Rouge group called The Eames Era. Great sound - we had a blast with them. A few years later, the two guitarists (Ted Joyner and Grant Widmer) would emerge as The Generationals - who keep churning out charming and compelling indie pop. Dig this new video for "Gold Silver Diamond" and yes, this is Waymond from Workaholics.

Real Talk Tuesdays: Broad City

I literally just stumbled upon this show this morning. Executive Producer (and all around badass) Amy Poehler seems to be mashing up Workaholics and Girls in the all new Broad City. Dig this.

Way Gone Wednesdays: Riskay

Workaholics returned last night (in all their trippy glory). I forgot that one of the hazards of tuning in too early is that you may have to tolerate Daniel Tosh. However, last night I'm glad I did. Otherwise I would have missed out on this little gem.

Way Gone Wednesdays:  Workaholics

The wife and I stumbled upon Workaholics half-way through it's first season.  Since then we've been hooked.  One of the funniest shows on television with chemistry that cannot be manufactured in a casting call.  Real life buds Blake Anderson, Anders Holm and Adam DeVine play three former college buddies who are now not only co-workers but roomates.  Season 1 is now available on DVD.  Season 2 is in full swing.  Don't sleep.
