Throwback Thursdays: Trick Daddy

On Sunday I rocked another widly successful Hit It Run old school party with DJ Belly. Easily my favorite DJ event of the year. After things get rowdy we always cut it down to 70 bpm and throw on some classics like this. Dig.

Feel Good Fridays: HIT IT RUN ~ Halloween Edition

This Saturday I hit the stage along with Kosmo, Delayney and Belly for the party of the year. It's Halloween weekend. It's Homecoming weekend. It's Hit it Run. Dig.

Throwback Thursdays: Hit It Run

The biggest party in C-U is about to come back around. On Sunday, May 27 myself, DJ Delayney and DJ Belly will throwdown with a 4 hour set of old school hip-hop, funk, soul & reggae. Founded by DJ Kosmo a decade ago, Hit It Run has become a staple for those looking to cut loose on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. Come on out. It's gonna get stanky.

Throwback Thursdays: Beastie Boys Day

I didn't pick up a basketball until 8th grade. I was terrible. No fundamentals. No common sense. After the season my folks thought I was through - considering that I spent most of my time on the bench - even during B Team games. That summer I sought out my future Freshman coach and asked him what I should work on. He said, "Free throws and layups". So everyday that summer (and I do mean every day) I would hit the courts armed with my boombox and License to Ill. I put together a shooting routine that would span the length of the album. So, during the summer of 1987, every workout started with "Rhymin and Stealin". I started that year as a Freshman.

This Saturday at our local independent record store, Exile on Main Street, myself and DJ Belly will be spinning all Beasties all day. Starting at the top.
