Throwback Thursdays: Jay Z w/ Memphis Bleek

Stopped by The Highdive last night to see DJ Delayney on Old School Night. This is the track that got stuck in my head - Jay Z feat. Memphis Bleek with that killer Talking Heads sample. Love it.

Throwback Thursdays: Hit It Run

It's that time again. Sunday is Hit It Run at the Cowboy Monkey - the bi-annual holiday old school party. Founder DJ Kosmo will be joining us for the first time in 2 years (he handed me this series when his Red Bull gig put him out on the road). Also, DJ Delayney will be on the decks. Forecast calls for a good time. See you there.

Madhouse Mondays: Poreotics

This weekend my buddy DJ Delayney put together his bi-annual dance showcase, Urbanite. He recruited me to make video intros for all the dance crews - 15 in all - local and regional groups as well as dancers from Mexico and beyond. The feature attraction was non other than America's Best Dance Crew winners, Poretoics. As a former b-boy this was incredible. These cats can move.

Feel Good Fridays: HIT IT RUN ~ Halloween Edition

This Saturday I hit the stage along with Kosmo, Delayney and Belly for the party of the year. It's Halloween weekend. It's Homecoming weekend. It's Hit it Run. Dig.

Throwback Thursdays: Hit It Run

The biggest party in C-U is about to come back around. On Sunday, May 27 myself, DJ Delayney and DJ Belly will throwdown with a 4 hour set of old school hip-hop, funk, soul & reggae. Founded by DJ Kosmo a decade ago, Hit It Run has become a staple for those looking to cut loose on Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends. Come on out. It's gonna get stanky.
