I'm back!  Surgery was successful - I'm recovering nicely.  It's Friday!  I'm taking my son to meet Talib Kweli tonight.  He'll being doing a meet-and-greet at Exile On Main Street at 6pm.  Don't sleep.

I'm having surgery on my hand today, which reminds me of Jack White broadcasting his finger surgery, which makes me think of The White Stripes and the last really bitchin' song they wrote, "Icky Thump".

Tomorrow is Record Store Day - the greatest day of the year for hipsters, audiophiles and scensters.  Our local shop, Exile on Main Street, will be hosting 6 DJs and 11 bands throughout the day.  I'm going to be spinning an all original set of Jezebelly tunes (produced with my partner J Butta) at 1:10 pm on the dot.  Lots of Record Store Day exclusives will be on sale plus if you can't make it down (or you live outta town) you can stream my set LIVE on WPGU.  Bitchin'.
