Tonight I'm opening the Sun Stereo cd release show. This band has grown so much in the past year. Really starting to zero in on something unique. Dig this tripped out video and come to the show tonight. I'm on at 10pm sharp.

The 21st Annual Great Cover Up was this past week and I missed the whole damn thing. We were out of town so for only the second time in 11 years, I did not participate. It was fun to check online to see the videos and pics start to pour in after each night. And after watching the highlights from the closing session (Thursday, January 19th) I'm convinced that it was the greatest night in Cover Up history. And I missed it.

My ex-drummer Jesse Greenlee has linked up with his long-time collaborator/friend Kelly McMorris and emerged as Sun Stereo. I've played a few shows with these cats and the tunes keep getting better and better. Kelly wrote this cut after reading about a drug bust in the San Luis Valley.  Gets stuck in my head everytime. So fresh.
