Depsite suffering from autism, Dr. Smith received his doctorate from the U of I and continues to enjoy live performance, dancing and music of every genre. This short doc was filmed by my good friend Kate Hathaway. Real talk? This melts my heart.
Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 9:00AM The 21st Annual Great Cover Up was this past week and I missed the whole damn thing. We were out of town so for only the second time in 11 years, I did not participate. It was fun to check online to see the videos and pics start to pour in after each night. And after watching the highlights from the closing session (Thursday, January 19th) I'm convinced that it was the greatest night in Cover Up history. And I missed it.
