He's been busy lately with projects like Hail Mary Mallon (with Rob Sonic and DJ Big Wiz) and The Uncluded (with Kimya Dawson) but I'm excited to see him occupying his own territory again. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at 9:01AM Mary Mallon (also known as Typhoid Mary) was identifited as the first healthy carrier of typhoid fever in the U.S. She spread the disease to dozens of people via her cooking. Fast foward to the present and we find Hail Mary Mallon, a hip-hop trio consisting of Aesop Rock, DJ Big Wiz and Rob Sonic. Their new album, Are You Gonna Eat That?, is available on Rhymesayers. Interesting since Aesop has been a long-time Def Jux staple - but considering that labels recent instablitiy, can't say I blame him for jumping on the hottest camp in hip-hop.
