King Tubby ruled the dub style of the 70's. As an artist, engineer and producer, he pioneered the dub sound and transformed the rock steady roots of reggae into something etheral. Dig this cut.

Madhouse Mondays: Chris Macro

I walked into my local record store on Friday (shouts out to Exile on Main Street) and the first thing I saw was a bootleg dubplate from Chris Macro - King Tubby vs. Wu Tang. Sold. The New Zealand selector has a string of uber-cool mash ups on his site and this one is a no brainer. Dig the video for Brooklyn Battleaxe and go cop that shit.
