Kool & Kass (Kool A.D. and Kassa Overall) dropped a new video for their cut, "Fresh Prince". Super fresh beat with a pair of tilted flows. Feels good.

It was 1988. Will Smith had just come to us as a charming, tongue-in-cheek rapper from Philadelphia. His first hit single, "Parents Just Don't Understand", went through the roof and paved the way for his impending television and film career. When my mother first heard this song she was convinced that I wrote it. Seriously. It took a considerable amount of time to explain to her that I did not write what was the most popular song in the country at the time. She remains skeptical to this day.

I always wondered though, if his mom had such bad taste in fashion why did she own a Porsche?
