My man Brandon T. Washington and I were talking about this track the other day. Sure it has a certain layer of cheese on it but listen to that groove. Dag.

My man Brandon T. Washington tipped me off to Jose James yesterday. Remaniscent of D'Angelo's Vodoo, this album (No Beginning, No End) is pure neo-soul goodness. Give it a spin.

Another year, another fun-filled performance. This time my band picked up a few extra key players and tackled Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre. It's an idea that me and Brandon T. Washington have been kicking around for a few years. When my bass player Ant Gravino heard me pitch it, he was all in. Enthusiastically. Ant only owns a few hip-hop albums but The Chronic and Doggystyle are two of his favorites. Drummer Ian Shepherd was ready to tackle the MPC beats.  So I picked the songs, made the set and recruited Jesse Brown on keys, Mike Ingram on guitar and Ci Ci Stewart on backing vocals. Last night I wrote, directed, shot, edited and scored a new commercial for Gearbrat.com which is owned by my bestie J. Budda. The video features a sharp dressed Brandon T. Washington (also a bestie). Budda makes hand-crafted, custom microphone bags to protect your high-end gear from smoke, dust, pet dander, etc. Great product. Dig it.
