Real Talk Tuesdays: Hello Larry

My buddy (and DC comics writer), Tony Bedard just played the theme song from Hello, Larry for me this morning. I totally missed this show but real talk? I would also totally watch it. It's basically Fraiser before Fraiser.  And it has Meadowlark Lemon in it for chrissake!

Real Talk Tuesdays: Ice Cube

Peep this interview/mini-doc by Complex TV on Ice Cube. From his early days in N.W.A. to penning his magnus opus, "It Was a Good Day" - this is fantastic. Be sure to check out the vintage Dr. Dre footage @ 1:35.

Throwback Thursdays: Sly & The Family Stone

What I would give to be at this party. Aaaaah - the drum break in "Dance to the Music".

Madhouse Mondays: Baby on the Court

Before the NBA Playoff game between Oklahoma City and Houston last Wednesday, someone lost track of their child. The kid, who's trousers had dropped (for what I'm assuming was potty-related issues) wanders right into frame as the analysts blather on. Priceless.

Throwback Thursdays: Otis Redding

Due to his short time with us, there's not a lot of live footage of Otis Redding out there. But dig this clip from a 1966 television appearance. Groovy.
