It's May the 4th. Time to prep yourself for an onslaught of Star Wars refrences. But while you're being bombarding with misquotes today do not forget the wonder that is The Star Wars Holiday Special. So bad that George Lucas attempted to find all copies and destroy them. Alas, he failed. Here's the abridged 15 minute version. You can watch the whole thing here. May the 4th be with you.

Bonus Post: Star Wars Holiday Special

In 1978, George Lucas thought it would be a good idea to capitalize on the popularity of Star Wars and release a made-for-TV holiday special.  I remember walking into my aunt's house and catching the last 5 minutes and after that, I never saw it again (rumor has it, Lucas was so embarassed by it that he ordered all copies destroyed). But thanks to the internets, we can now bask in the horrific glory of that poorly executed shitshow.  Happy Holidays y'all.
