Feel Good Fridays: SNL Cast Breaking

Ready for the weekend? Me too. To help you get there, here's a supercut of SNL cast members breaking character. Enjoy.

Madhouse Mondays: Linsanity

I missed SNL this weekend but managed to catch the opening skit - a send-up of all the nauseating attention being given to New York Knicks recent signee, Jeremy Lin. No knock on Lin, the kids got game - but the league is overexposing him in an effort to draw attention back to a game that was once full of legends....and is now overrun by half-baked college dropouts. Dig.

Way Gone Wednesdays: Portlandia

Portlandia is picking up a lot of steam. The sketch show features current SNL funnyman Fred Armisen and ex-Sleater-Kinney/current-Wild Flag rocker Carrie Brownstein. Funny shit. I think I ate at this place - only it was in Boston.

Madhouse Mondays: Helen Mirren's breasts

I've been watching SNL with some regularity for about 25 years now.  In high school, the cast boasted the likes of Mike Myers, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler and Al Franken.  I feel that the current cast has been unjustly slighted and that they are doing better work than their predecessors - especially Andy Samberg and his Digital Short series.  This weeks installment just might be the funniest thing I've seen on that show.

Exhibit A:  Helen Mirren's breasts....
