Way Gone Wednesdays: Tyler the Creator

I've been both amused and disappointed by the OFWGKTA crew but I have to tip my hat to them stylistically. The beats are always fresh and amazing and the visuals are usually pretty stunning. Tyler just dropped a video (probably NSFW) for his new single, "Tamale" and while it has the usual misogynistic tomfoolery, the song makes a significant shift in it's latter third. Just do me a favor and stick it out. Might be the realest shit you've heard all year. I'm not easily impressed, but this one got me.

Madhouse Mondays: Earl Sweatshirt

I've got alotta problems with OFWGKTA but there are a few things they do right and the surprise sucess story fo the whole clique is Earl Sweatshirt. His solo joint is filled with dark, hipnotic, jaw-dropping soothsayer madness. Peep "Hive" and tell me I'm wrong. You can stream the whole album here.
