Real Talk Tuesdays: Skyote

Over the past few weeks my son has put together a rock band and got the headlining slot in his middle school talent show. The debate over the band's name has raged on in our household for days now. I'm pulling for "Skyote" (which was spawned when the drummer misprounounced 'coyote') and as of today this has not been settled. One things for sure, they'll close with this tune. Realk talk? I'm pretty proud right about now.

Way Gone Wednesdays: Shocking Blue

You may remember Shocking Blue from their 1970 hit, "Venus".  This cut is called "Love Buzz" (which was covered by Nirvana on the re-release of Bleach in 1989).  Here's a video featuring clips of the one and only Louise Brooks.  Dig it.  It's way gone.
