Entries in MF Doom (4)

Way Gone Wednesdays: MADDILLAINY

What happens when you take the vocals from the 2004 masterpiece Madvillainy (MF DOOM vs. Madlib) and drop them over Dilla beats? Big ups to DJ Skarface. This is hot.

Madhouse Mondays: Your Old Droog

Your Old Droog has that left-of-center, bad-boy flow. Think MF Doom meets Redman. Such a dope track too - dig this.

Feel Good Fridays: Dabrye/Doom

If you've ever been to one of my chill DJ nights you've probably heard this cut. This is midwestern beat-maker, Dabrye's take on the MF Doom track, "Air". So vibey. Dig.

Way Gone Wednesdays: MF Doom

MF Doom (now known simply as, DOOM) is Way Gone.  Anyone who's heard the masked one knows this already.  Back in 2008, he collaborated with The Mighty Underdogs - a supergroup consisting of Gift of Gab (from Blackalicious), Lateef the Truth Speaker (from Laytrx) and producer Headnodic (of Crown City Rockers).   Oddly enough, this single was put out by New York underground label Def Jux.   The wild west themed video (directed by Ben Stokes) itself is 100% certified Way Gone.
