Feel Good Fridays: Git Beats & Bob Banner

The big homie Git has a new banger out with Bob Banner. The vibe is on par with Gang Starr's "Militia" or M.O.P.'s "Ante Up". Pure energy. Bump this in your morning speakers.

Feel Good Fridays: Git x Hubbs

I've written about producer Git and emcee Hubbs a few times this past year. I've also tried to support the pair by ordering their albums, 7"s etc. This week they dropped a brand new full length entitled, Piece of Mind. I found time on Wednesday to listen to it while at work. Head nods turned to confusion when my brain tried to tell me that I was listening to my own voice. Sure enough, they had sampled a portion of my episode of local podcast You Big Dumb Idiot (I was the hip-hop expert on that show a few months back). It blew my mind a bit. So surreal. Dig the cut below and then hop on over to their bandcamp page where you can stream and/or buy the album.

Feel Good Fridays: GIT x HUBBS

I know I've talked a lot about Git and Hubbs over the past year but it's a combination that really works. They dropped a new project, Piece of Mind, on New Years Day - this is my favorite shit going right now. For real.

Real Talk Tuesdays: Git Beats

I opened up Spotify at work yesterday and followed one of their recommendations on a whim. It lead me to Basement Ghost, the new album by Git. Turns out it's an ultra-cool collection of beats with a whole herd of lesser known emcees ridin' shotgun. The result - outstanding. Wish there was more of this sorta thing floating around. Here's the lead track featuring Hubbs. Dig.
