DJ Limbs (Victor Carreon) was a regular fixture in C-U during his college days but has since returned to the Windy City where he bears a rather large crown amongst Chicago djs.  I found this track on his Soundcloud page and immediately approved it for this series.

My buddy Dan Finnerty (a.k.a Spinnerty) was born and raised here in Urbana but has since relocated to San Francisco Bay area.  He's made quite a name for himself and has such a great feel for soul music.  Dig it.

Feel Good Fridays: Grieves & Budo

My buddy Budo has been on the road the past few years with Rhymesayers artist Grieves.  He continues to produce beautiful music and remains one of the most genuine, unique characters I know.  He and Grieves posted "Pack It Up" on Valentines Day but I think the vibe is perfect for my first Feel Good Fridays post.  Dig in.

 

 

Budo also had the chance to remix the Blueprint track "So Alive" - gorgeous.
