Feel Good Fridays: The Coasters

In 1972, The Coasters covered an old cut called "Down Home Girl" (first recorded by Alvin Robinson in 1964). This tune has also been covered by The Rolling Stones and Old Crow Medicine show (among others). The Coasters take is probably my favorite. They slow it down and make sultry and humid. Dig.
