Real Talk Tuesdays:  Volleyball

I used to love volleyball.  I dated a volleyball player in high school.  I even covered the inaugural season of volleyball at my junior college for the school paper - traveling with the team and writing about it's impact on the school and the community.  In 2000, the rules for scoring were changed.  Used to be that the defense had to make a stop and get the serve before having a chance to score.  Now, anyone's error can result in a point for the other team.  The rule change was in an effort to make the sport more "spectator and television friendly".  I say bullshit.  It has ruined the game for me.  Sorry.  Just needed to get that off my chest.
