After sitting in our Netflix queue for weeks, we finally got around to watching Klown. Easily one of the funniest films I've seen all year. It plays like a Swedish Curb Your Enthusiasm. Dig the trailer.

I'm amazed by anyone who can do this. I can usually jump rope for a strong 20 seconds before smacking myself on the shins. Dig this throwback to old school double dutch competitions.

Watched this weird little film last night. Gotta say - I enjoyed the hell out of it. It's not perfect but it's just strange enough to get over. The editing and music were fantastic. Kudos to Will Ferrell and Adam McKay for making this sleeper.

With the passing of MCA this year I wondered what would become of his film company, Oscilloscope Laboratories. Apparently they're moving on and next month they will release the epic documentary, Samsara, directed by Ron Fricke. Filmed in 25 countries over the course of 5 years this looks to be more than just eye candy, this is pure documentation of the human soul. Check it.
