There was quite a bit of hype surrounding the filming of JAY Z's video for "Picasso Baby". Hova posting up at the Pace Gallery in NYC and performing for a select group of people. Performance art. The video is now out and I gotta say - this is something special. For starters, this isn't just a random group of people - this is a carefully constructed ensemble of artists, filmmakers, musicians and other creative minds (several of whom you should recognize). Each spectator gets to sit front and center while Jigga spits his raps directly to them. Sometimes interacting, sometimes just mesmorized (Hova is larger than life after all). Dig this. I found it incredibly inspiring.
