To me, what's strange about the digital revolution is that just because many of us have access to incredible technology, that does not mean that all of us will thrive as a result. DJs, musicians, filmmakers, authors - millions have opportunities now to "be discovered", to crowdsource their projects, to distribute digitally. But what that also means is that there are now a lot of mouths to feed in our communities (both local and virtual). Not all of us are gonna "make it". Most of us will still need jobs. What you have to understand is that that's okay. Be responsible. Do what you gotta do. And if you're gonna go for it, go all out.
