Who gave us the first rap song? Most would say it was The Sugarhill Gang with "Rapper's Delight" (1979). Others site Jocko's "Rhythm Talk" (also 1979). But what about James Brown's "America is my Home" (1968)? Or even Hank Snow's "I've Been Everywhere" (1962)?
