In 2002, my buddy Bryan Phelps (The Chemicals) tipped me off to a 19 year old Norweigan songwriter named Sondre Lerche. His debut, Faces Down, remains one of my favorite albums. It's perfect. Later that year we caught him on tour (opening for Nada Surf). Armed with his hollowbody he charmed the pants off the crowd. He continues to churn out quality tunes and is now a full-fledged Brooklynite. This is the first tune I heard - dig it.
