If the party ain't groovin, this cut will fix it. In 1972 Curtis Mayfield scored the blaxploitation film, Superfly - giving us jams like "Freddie's Dead", "Pusherman" and the title cut, "Superfly". The film starred Ron O'Neal (who went on to direct the sequel, Superly T.N.T.) as badass drug dealer, Priest, who wants to do one more big score and get out of the game.
